Ken is the absolute best. I’ve been going to him for 7 years and I’ve never been disappointed. Since Ken, I’ve never seen another salon/stylist. My hair is has never looked better or felt healthier. I’ve been going to Inhye for a few years now, and she is an incredible stylist. She’s meticulous, technical, and talented, with an ability to see and fix things before they ever become an issue. That’s why I don’t mind driving  an hour just to see her! I have long, thick hair that most people find challenging to cut, but somehow Inhye always manages to give me something fresh and different every time I visit. As the owner of a barbershop, I’ve worked alongside many talented people in the industry and can be very particular about my own hair. Inhye is a magician, and I've never trusted anyone in the world with my hair as much as I trust her! I made my first appointment with her almost two years ago, when I decided I wanted to cut my long, dense, straight Asian hair into a textured bob. My hair type is not very forgiving, and at such a short length it's pretty hard to hide a bad cut -- so it was important to find someone highly skilled. She gave me the bob of my dreams, and I've been driving over from DC every few months to get it trimmed and reshaped ever since. She's also given me very subtle, dimensional highlights that I love.

The studio itself has a very relaxed, fun vibe; even though it's a long drive for me, every visit feels like a treat. Highly recommend.

I got the head spa experience with Yesenia and it was amazing. She was so attentive and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted for my hair. She took her time, explained everything to me that she was doing, and we had an amazing conversation. I’ve already scheduled another appointment and will continue to do so!!

InHye and Jasmin worked their magic on my neglected locks. They corrected the harsh demarcations from previous colorings so it looks cohesive again. I treat myself to an InHye appt every year and I always leave feeling fabulous. Jasmin gave me an amazing head treatment, and is gentle but firm in her grasp.

This place is so nice and niche, they have the best atmosphere and have a really good song collection so you're not bored when you're waiting for your hair to bleach. I have very dark Asian hair and they have a lot of stylist here that will know what to do with your texture of your hair if you're looking for specialists. Their coloring techniques are superb and you can't beat them here. The payoff lasts long if you put the money in. They also have lots of other services that they offer here like scalp treatments, head massaging and scalp analysis. Highly recommend hands down, all the stylists here know exactly what they're doing so you can't go wrong when you come in here.

I've been getting my hair done with Inhye for a couple of years now and is truly a work of art every single time. Inhye started out doing my color. What really took it to the next level is when I decided to get my hair cut by Inhye. OMG! what an experience. She is phenomenal when it comes to cutting. Inhye is truly an amazing person and incredibly talented hairstylist. She knows color inside out and is an expert.   I came to Inhye with over processed highlights and old permanent color on my hair. It was incredibly damaged and brassy. I was dying for healthy hair and a gorgeous natural brown blonde. Inhye is knowledgeable and takes time to explain to you the process. Ken has been doing my haircuts for a couple of years now and I was excited to see him in his new space! I usually go for haircuts and not color treatment or additional services. The new studio is clean and modern, tucked into the corner of a mall next to A&J, and has coffee/tea amenities in the waiting area. Ken has always been a great hairstylist and has been able to achieve all the ideas i’ve wanted so far for haircuts, and provides tips on styling and low-maintenance cuts if you’re a lazy person like me who doesn’t do too much with their hair. Always a great experience going to Ken and have high hopes for this new studio!

I’ve been a client of Lexy for years and was so excited when they opened this studio. The studio itself is spacious, lots of bright lights, trendy, and they use  high quality products (ex: Milbon).  Lexy is great and she specializes in coloring. I don’t do crazy colors but stick with more natural colored balayage and definitely trust her to help pick the right color since I’m so indecisive! Lexy is easy going and is up to date with all the trends. Scheduling was also easy, she responds right away to any scheduling requests. I have yet to do the head spa but  maybe soon I’ll try that out.

The salon is clean with a really nice vibe. It’s also right next to good restaurants like boba tea and Chinese food, etc. so you can easily pick up your food and eat while getting your hair done. Lexy, the owner of the Collab Studio is an expert hair stylist and hair colorist in the DMV! I found Lexy when I was looking for someone to cut my thick Asian hair when I moved back to Maryland. Previous haircuts I got elsewhere had turned out so awkward, but Lexy is a pro! I am a repeat customer and I know she has many loyal clients who come back time and time again because she is great at what she does.

She is awesome at, and passionate about hair color. Whether you're trying to cover grays, look more natural, or go bold and on trend, Lexy does it all. She was patient and never pushy with me for the first few times I went to her for just a cut. She gives good recommendations and can do whatever you bring as inspo. I finally let her dye my virgin black hair, and asked for warm balayage highlights. It's been months since, and my everyday hair--with doing nothing extra to style or maintain the color--still looks amazing and natural but slightly elevated with tons of dimension!
